Arts Coordinator

Our new Community Arts Coordinator is Christine Heaney who started work on the 19th July 2010.

Christine has a long association with Creative Napier, dating back to 1997 when she joined as a Board member. After a break of 4 years, during which time Christine worked as an Art Specialist for special needs children and adults and as Coordinator for several of Taradale High School's Wearable Art Competitions, she was back managing and coordinating the 2009 Childrens Arts Festival for Creative Napier. She also makes and sells her own jewellery, pottery and paintings from her studio in Puketapu.

Christine hopes having an artist at the helm of Creative Napier will make our organisation more identity friendly.
